The former police station in Crowborough could be set to get a new lease of life.
A planning application has been submitted to turn the empty building on the corner of Crowborough Hill and North Beeches Road into a four-bedroomed house.
The plans also involve the demolition of the flat-roof extension to the building, and two new houses built on land behind and beside the building. These would be a four-bedroomed house and a three-bedroomed chalet bungalow.
An existing row of garages will be removed and the applicant says each of the three new houses will have two parking spaces on the site. The proposal has also been designed to involve minimal alterations to the original building, to allow the design of the neo-Georgian Building to be retained.
