The arrest of an individual in Crowborough for assault was one of 13 made by Wealden Police in the past week.
A total of six of those arrested were for assault, involving incidents in Hailsham, Willingdon, Polegate, Maresfield and Forest Row, as well as the one in Crowborough.
Two drivers were arrested in Uckfield and Alciston – one for drink driving, the other for drug driving. Other offences included breaking bail conditions and failing to appear at court.
