Calling all budding Lionesses – Crowborough Athletic FC is set to hold it first free girls’ Big Football Day as part of the celebration of women’s football and the Euros.
With support from the National Lottery and the Football Association, the club says it is thrilled to be hosting the event next Saturday (5 July) and wants as many women and girls to join in.
Starting at 3.30pm it will include some free football taster training sessions, beat the goalie, face painting, ice creams, barbecue and an open bar. Then at 8pm it’ll be time to watch the Lionesses take on France in the Euros on a big screen.
The event takes place at Crowborough Athletic’s Charles Century stadium in Fermor Road.
